We are launching our first online course

Floop is now offering a Feedback Essentials Course. This 5-hour self-paced course includes 5 modules covering the following topics:

  • Feedback overview – Examine the current research about feedback, feedback systems, and going gradeless. Reflect on your current feedback practices.
  • Teacher feedback – Explore how to design an effective, efficient, and sustainable feedback system to develop relationships and improve student outcomes. Learn from research and the experiences of other teachers to identify ways to improve your current feedback practices.
  • Peer feedback – Learn how to build a culture of feedback in your classroom by supporting peer-to-peer dialogue. Explore the why behind using peer review in your classroom, learn how to write strong peer review criteria, and practice writing peer review criteria.
  • Self-feedback – Explore how Social and Emotional Learning connects to Feedback Literacy, with a focus on Self Feedback. Learn from research and the experiences of other teachers to identify ways to improve your current feedback practices in order to improve students’ academic and SEL outcomes through self-feedback. 
  • Acting on feedback – Evaluate strategies for creating assessments with feedback and student engagement in mind.
