We’re excited about the new school year ahead and have been hard at work this summer getting ready! Here are some things you can expect with Floop this back-to-school season.

Product Updates

Canvas Integration

Our biggest update this year—a full integration with Canvas! If you use Canvas, you can start using our Peer Review Tool right away by following the instructions on EduAppCenter. Floop’s Peer Review tool allows you to run our anonymous, guided peer review directly within Canvas, with no need for you and your students to create extra accounts on Floop.

What to access all of Floop’s teacher, peer, and self feedback features within Canvas? Our full integration, which includes all of Floop’s teacher, peer, and self feedback tools, as well as integration into Canvas SpeedGrader so you can sync your grades, is available to schools who register for Floop’s full site license. Contact us at [email protected] to get set up.

Individual Student Summary

See an individual student’s progress at a glance! Now, you can access a summary of submissions for a single student so that you can better identify and communicate patterns in a student’s learning. Grades only tell part of the story, but with Floop’s individual Growthbook, you can see extra information like a student’s submission record or engagement with feedback over all of their assignments.

CSV Export

With all of this rich data in Floop around grades and feedback engagement, we’ve heard that teachers want to be able to export their data to a CSV so they can more easily transfer data to an external grade book or maintain offline records. You’ll see this new “Download CSV” button on your Growthbook, and from there, you can select exactly what records you want to download.

Assignment Archiving

Teachers who use Floop often can amass hundreds of assignments over the course of the semester. This list can be overwhelming to navigate for teachers and students alike! So, we added an ability to archive assignments, so that your assignment lists stays accessible and relevant for you and your students.

PDF Reports

You’ve told us that teachers need a way to print student feedback so that they can maintain offline records, share with parents, or provide to students without Floop access. Now, you can generate a PDF of your student’s work and associated feedback comments.
